IbogaQuest’s substance-dependence program combines medical screening, ibogaine treatment and therapeutic preparation and integration. The standard seven-day residential retreat runs Monday to Monday. Extra preparation or detox care may require earlier arrival. Where detox support is needed, an early-arrival arrangement of up to seven days uses a separate supervised location in Tepoztlán. It is distinct from the treatment-week guesthouse.
Addiction and Substance-Dependence Pathway
IbogaQuest’s substance-dependence program combines medical screening, ibogaine treatment and therapeutic preparation and integration.
The standard seven-day residential retreat runs Monday to Monday. Extra preparation or detox care may require earlier arrival.
Where detox support is needed, an early-arrival arrangement of up to seven days uses a separate supervised location in Tepoztlán. It is distinct from the treatment-week guesthouse.
Program length, clinical support and preparation are tailored to the substance history and individual needs.
Other Treatment Pathways
The wider offer includes psychospiritual programs and programs for mood, PTSD and traumatic-brain-injury concerns.
Those pathways have different goals and support requirements from substance-dependence treatment. The chosen programme follows individual assessment.
Medical and Therapeutic Support
Medical clearance is required before final confirmation. Health-history review, ECG and laboratory work inform suitability and preparation.
Medical supervision accompanies the treatment stage. Psychotherapists and coaches support individual preparation and integration.
The stay includes time for rest and recovery rather than continuous scheduled activities.
Guesthouse and Setting
Accommodation is in private rooms in a Posada-style home. Gardens, a pool and a solar-heated jacuzzi accompany mountain views.
The program hosts a maximum of seven participants once per month. The specific retreat dates and availability are confirmed during enrolment.
The current published location is Centro Werika in Santiago Tepetlapa, Tepoztlán.
Meals and Daily Activities
Meals are prepared onsite. Daily integration includes individual and group therapeutic support.
Activities may include meditation, breathwork, somatic work, massage, art, temazcal and Janzu water work. The individual condition and program schedule determine participation.
Aftercare
One to three integration sessions after returning home are included in the program.
The therapeutic team develops an individual aftercare plan during preparation, considering the home environment and longer-term needs.
Continued work with local therapists or other independent providers is a separate arrangement, tailored to the individual.
Pricing and Inclusions
Published programme amounts are US$6,500 for psychospiritual care, US$7,500 for mood, PTSD or brain-injury concerns, and US$8,500 to US$13,500 for substance dependence.
The higher end of the dependence range accounts for earlier arrival and detox support. The final programme is quoted according to individual needs.
Screening, onsite medical supervision, preparation and integration sessions, accommodation and meals are described as included.
Location and Enrolment
The current official address is Centro Werika, Cuemecatitla 52, Santiago Tepetlapa, Tepoztlán, Morelos.
