Residential Treatment and Recovery
Residential stays of 30, 60 or 90 days combine medical assessment, individualized care planning and individual and group therapy. Cognitive behavioral therapy addresses emotional triggers and patterns associated with addiction.
Recovery coaches introduce residents to Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous and Cocaine Anonymous, then help them choose a corresponding 12-step fellowship. Workshops cover emotional regulation, managing stress and preparing for life after treatment.
The approach also includes medication-assisted treatment, trauma-informed care and psychiatric support.
Therapy and Team Support
Greg leads the center as director and step coach. Medical doctors work alongside the psychologist, addiction counselors and recovery coaches.
Jazmin, the bilingual psychologist, meets with residents three times a week. Her postgraduate training includes cognitive behavioral therapy, systemic family therapy and addiction therapy.
Francisco, a bilingual addiction counselor, brings tools from rational emotive behavior therapy and logotherapy into his support work. Noel facilitates a support group. Residential support also includes meal preparation, yoga instruction and art activities.
The center has Canadian and American owners and provides English-speaking care.
Accommodation and Facilities
The 3,500-square-foot residence has accommodation for eight guests, with private or shared bedrooms and bathrooms. A common living room offers space for reading, television and conversation, while a dedicated therapy room is used for individual and group sessions.
Meals are prepared in the residence's kitchen, with menus adjusted for dietary preferences and restrictions. The garden and lawn host outdoor meetings, yoga and games; the pool and reclining chairs provide recreation space.
Personalized nutrition plans are available alongside meals adjusted to dietary preferences and restrictions.
Daily Life and Activities

Aftercare and Family Support
Life's Oasis and CYOA Wellness offer Choosing Change, a personalized multi-week aftercare program for the transition from early recovery into everyday life.
The program includes weekly private coaching, practical coping strategies and a personal life plan. Support between sessions provides check-ins during the week. Breathwork, mindfulness-based stress reduction and general nutrition form part of its wellness component.
Family coaching and education support loved ones as relationships and routines change after treatment. This partnership is separate from the residential stay.
