Residential Program and Admission Scope

Narconon Latin America provides a residential educational rehabilitation program at Hacienda Dolores in Villa Victoria. Participants progress through withdrawal support, the New Life Detoxification stage, communication work and life-skills coursework.

Progress is based on completing the program stages at an individual pace, with many participants taking around twelve weeks. The model is not a 28-day or 12-step program and does not require religious belief.

Withdrawal support within the program is nonmedical and does not use substitute drugs. When a physician determines medically supervised withdrawal is necessary, a separate medical service is required before the Narconon program begins.

The program is for people seeking to stop drug or alcohol use. Clinical suitability and any prerequisite medical withdrawal need individual assessment before entering the nonmedical residential program.

The program uses Narconon methods developed by L. Ron Hubbard.

Withdrawal and Daily Support

A withdrawal specialist assists the participant, with staff monitoring sleep, food, fluid intake and progress. Nutrition and the program's physical-assistance techniques form part of this nonmedical stage.

A structured daily schedule incorporates food, hydration, rest and supervised program activities. Instructional films explain the procedures and theory used in the Narconon model.

Exercise Sauna and Nutrition

The New Life Detoxification stage combines running or exercise, dry-sauna sessions, hydration and a monitored nutrition and supplement regimen. The supplement protocol includes niacin, other vitamins and minerals, and oils.

This is a named stage of the Narconon educational program, separate from physician-supervised medical withdrawal. Participation in sauna, exercise and nutrition activities is governed by the program process.

Exercise, sauna time and nutrition are organized alongside an ordered personal schedule with rest. The residential setting includes a fitness area, two saunas and a space for relaxation.

Communication and Life Skills

The Objectives component uses exercises directed at communication and attention to the present environment. Life-skills coursework follows withdrawal and the New Life Detoxification stage.

Overcoming Ups and Downs in Life addresses factors influencing emotional and physical patterns. Personal Values focuses on decisions and personal responsibility, while Changing Conditions in Life works on relationships, work and other areas affected by substance use.

The final coursework prepares participants for returning to community, family and working life. It includes practical work on personal values and relationships.

Accommodation and Campus Spaces

The center occupies a historic hacienda with a central reception building and an interior courtyard surrounded by arcaded walkways. Lawns and outdoor spaces complement the residential setting.

Course rooms support life-skills study, while the auditorium is used for events and graduations. Shared lounges provide seating between program activities.

The property includes a gym, two saunas, relaxation areas, dining spaces and a historic bullring. These spaces support the residential and training functions of the campus.

Team and Program Roles

Zu Lizarraga directs the center, with Cruz Ruiz responsible for internal administration. Antelmo Martinez coordinates dissemination and Valentín Yocupicio oversees rehabilitation operations.

Francisco Dorame supervises drug-free withdrawal, Antonia Ramirez coordinates the New Life Detoxification stage, and Evelin Carbajal supervises coursework. Jiram Zepeda supports nursing.
