Sanáhra Treatment Centre is a small private residential treatment community in Puerto Vallarta’s Versalles neighborhood. Individualized care combines psychological therapy, medical support when needed, AA and NA meetings, family involvement and a structured daily routine. The center serves people from the United States, Canada and Mexico, with English- and Spanish-speaking staff.
Individualized Treatment
Sanáhra operates as a deliberately small residential treatment community. Treatment planning considers personal history, physical and emotional health, previous treatment, family relationships, relapse patterns, strengths, interests and goals.
The multidisciplinary team adapts the treatment plan as the person progresses and needs change. Psychological treatment includes individual and group therapy.
Depending on individual needs, therapy may use cognitive and mindfulness-based approaches. Therapeutic work can address emotional regulation, coping strategies, relapse prevention and family relationships.
Medical and Psychiatric Support
Medical care is integrated when needed during stabilization and detoxification. Medical and psychiatric evaluations and medication management may be incorporated when clinically appropriate.
IV hydration and nutrient therapy may be incorporated only when medically appropriate and supervised.
12-Step Recovery and Community
AA and NA principles and meetings form part of the recovery program. Residents are introduced to a recovery community that can remain accessible after leaving treatment.
Accommodation and Facilities
The treatment house is in the Versalles neighborhood of Puerto Vallarta. A brick-walled courtyard includes plants, string lights, patio tables and shaded seating.
Indoor communal areas include furnished living rooms and a dining room.
Daily Life and Activities
Exercise, functional fitness, nutrition, restorative sleep and structured routines are part of the daily-life approach. Meditation, mindfulness, spirituality and personal development accompany the therapeutic program.
A traditional temazcal takes place on Sundays. Deep-tissue massage is available as a supportive wellness service.
Restorative yoga sessions combine movement, breathing and relaxation. Guided painting sessions provide a creative activity within the residential routine.
Functional fitness and CrossFit support are provided through the LOTAN coach.
Care Team
Maky coordinates the day-to-day details of each stay. Rebeca provides psychological support focused on cognitive therapy.
Dr. Raúl oversees the medical aspects of treatment. Alma provides nursing care and works with the medical and therapeutic team.

Family and Life After Treatment

This planning can include relationships, returning to work or education, physical activity and developing new interests.
