Addiction and Residential Programs
Bassé’s standard residential program serves people with substance dependence, including short-acting opioids, alcohol, cocaine, methamphetamine and kratom.
The wider offer also addresses trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety and chronic-pain concerns. Individual screening determines the appropriate pathway.
The standard stay is eight days and seven nights. Longer detox arrangements, including ten-day or longer plans, are considered for certain medications or more complex preparation needs.
Arrival and orientation are followed by physician and psychological assessment, preparation activities, treatment, rest and integration. Departure transport is arranged at the end of the stay.
Medical Assessment and Monitoring
Preparation includes a full blood workup, liver testing and ECG assessment. An ECG is described for each day of the stay.
Medical staff monitor the treatment and recovery period. Suitability is established before treatment is confirmed.
Treatment is given individually, with the wider residential schedule providing time for preparation, rest and integration.
Somatic Work and Daily Life
Activities include massage and bodywork, creative work, vocal toning, guided meditation, yoga and movement.
The daily schedule combines assessment and psychological preparation with rest and integration activities. Meals are prepared as part of the stay.
Group integration and therapeutic bodywork accompany the return-planning stage.
Accommodation and Setting
The center is a small jungle property in the Riviera Maya near Tulum. Six single rooms have private bathrooms and balconies.
Shared areas include a pool, sun deck, covered outdoor kitchen and dining space.
The clinic is in the Tulum area; Cancún is an airport option rather than a separate treatment location.
Team
Dr. Juan Manuel Quijada Gaytán is listed as medical director. The physician team includes emergency and critical-care roles.
Laura Shapiro leads the center, and Kat Courtney leads client experience and integration. The roles combine medical oversight, hospitality and integration work.
Integration After Departure
The standard stay includes a thirty-day integration and aftercare course led by Kat Courtney, plus a sixty-minute private integration session.
The course provides structured material for returning home and applying the experience to daily life. Continuing local support is a separate planning consideration.
Visitors do not come and go during treatment. Family members may arrange separate accommodation in Tulum while the center keeps the support person updated.
Prices and Payment
The standard eight-day, seven-night program is US$13,500. It includes the room, meals, airport transport, screening, monitoring, treatment and aftercare course.
A US$5,000 deposit is payable by wire transfer, with the balance due before treatment begins. Checks and other payment formats are not accepted under the published deposit policy.
Changes, cancellation or rescheduling require seven days’ notice; otherwise the deposit is non-refundable. Extra days on a longer plan are prorated.
Third-party medical financing may be available, with approval and terms determined by the financing provider.
Airport Travel
Guests can travel through Cancún or Tulum airports. The center coordinates private pickup and return ground transport.
Arrival dates are agreed before flights are booked. Journey times depend on the airport, route and traffic.
